South Africa have suffered a double injury blow ahead of their three-match ODI series against Namibia, with Lhuan-dre Pretorius and Andile Simelane ruled out of the series. Cricket South Africa confirmed on September 7 that Pretorius has been sidelined by a right adductor muscle injury, while Simelane has suffered a left abdominal muscle strain. Corbin Bosch and Matthew Breetzke have been called up as their replacements. Lhuan-dre Pretorius Ruled Out After Explosive Namibia Campaign Pretorius' absence comes at an unfortunate time for the young South African batter. The 20-year-old was one of the standout performers during the recently completed T20I tri-series in Namibia. He scored a sensational 101 from 53 balls against Namibia, registering his maiden T20I century and becoming the youngest batter from a Full Member nation to score a men's T20I hundred. Pretorius finished the tri-series as South Africa's leading run-scorer and was expected to carry his excellent form into the three-match ODI series. However, his right adductor injury means he will now miss the 50-over assignment against the hosts.
